Instead of the usual monochromatic photos I usually post on this blog, I have decided to go in another direction and look for more scenic shots instead.
Tec Petaja was a photographer I accidentally chanced upon and his photos attracted me because it has the ability to evoke a feeling inside of me. Most people would ignore the usual sights and scenes in their everyday life and think that they are not worth documenting but I beg to differ.
After viewing his blog, I am amazed by how simple his photos are but they make me feel really at peace. As I could only select 7 shots, I had to choose between his diverse collection of photos and select the scenic ones which I liked the most.
His shots may seem like there is no point of focus to the viewer but personally, I feel that there isn't meant to be any point of focus. It is meant for our eyes to wander around the image and appreciate the details of the photo.
